This is my App for my second character for X3 With my smexy firefighter, Cayden 8D <3 I hope you like him! X3 <3 Nooow onto his bio ;D

Cayden is a rather out-going, happy person by nature. He is always seen smiling and more than willing to help those in need around him. He is very friendly and kind-hearted, even to strangers and is also very gentle with his words and actions to those around him. That being said, he is also very protective of those he cares about and even strangers who are in trouble and wouldn’t even hesitate to break up a fight or get involved in one to protect someone from harm.

He is also very humble and often says things he does were ‘no big deal’ even when they were. He often gets embarrassed when praised, but always thanks others for the praise he receives and tries to praise others at the same time. Cayden is also extremely optimistic most of the time. Everything could be going wrong around him and he’ll just smile, chuckle a bit, and say that things will get better. He always tries to look at the brighter, nicer side of things as opposed to sulking or worrying about problems around him. Though this is a good trait to have for the most part, he can come off as aloof or unintelligent sometimes because he just so optimistic all the time and some people even get angry with him, thinking he’s not taking things seriously enough, even when he is.

Occasionally, Cayden can be rather oblivious to the world around him and not seem to notice things like girls flirting with him ( or guys either for that matter lol ). Most of his obliviousness comes from social interactions with others, so he can, again, come off as not very bright, when in actuality, he’s very smart and even a straight A student. This also doesn’t help that he can be very absent-minded and forgetful at times and has no sense of direction at all. Cayden is also quite selfless and reckless at times, not even thinking twice about running into a burning building to save people or getting in the middle of a fight to break it up. This often ends with him getting hurt or nearly getting hurt because he doesn’t think before acting.

Cayden is also a complete workaholic, often working more than one job when he could along with caring for Haylee and the house. He would take on any shifts given to him unless they interacted with another job or prior arrangement. He often worked himself to the bone and came home exhausted every day, and still does even now with his steady job. Because of his gentle and kind personality, he is often taken advantage of by others to get him to take extra shifts so others could have time off even when he’s already over-worked, or getting him to do work no one else would do just because they know he wouldn’t say no. All you have to do is ask him to do something and smile nicely at him and get can’t resist saying yes. Even if it’s something ridiculous. He will on rare occasions, put his foot down and say no, but it’s usually only if what you’re asking will affect someone else negatively.

Though he is usually very happy on the outside all the time, he will get upset or depressed at times, but around others, he just covers it up with a smile and says nothing is wrong. He’d rather keep negativity to himself and deals with it on his own rather than being upset around others and upsetting them as well. Only those who know him very well can tell the difference between his true smile and his forced ones.

History:

Cayden was born to two very loving parents in a town far away from pawville. His father was a firefighter and his mother was a grade-school teacher. He looked up to them as he grew up and loved them dearly, always talking about how he wanted to be a ‘hero’ like his father was. At the age of 6, his sister Haylee came into the world and he instantly became the world’s proudest older brother. He would happily race home every day from school to see her and talk about his day to her.

Days back then were very happy for their family until 3 years later, a month after Cayden’s 9^th birthday, they got a call from the fire department that made their world fall apart. A fire had broken out in an apartment building and Cayden’s father had gone back in to save a little girl and her dog who was trapped under some rubble, even though he was told to stay back. After freeing the two of them, they barely made it out in time before the roof collapsed on top of his father. That day he had saved the girl and her dog, as well as her parents and the neighbours on both sides of their apartment at the cost of his life.

His father was a hero to the town, but it didn’t stop his mother from falling into depression. Cayden would often come home from school only to find his mother still in bed, unmoving the whole day. He taught himself to cook from trial and error and reading cooking books so that he could feed himself and Haylee when their mother wouldn’t get up. He would always try to get his mother to eat as well, but often to no avail. After nearly a year of this, Cayden started to notice his mother getting very sick all the time and came home one day to her collapsed on the bathroom floor in a small pool of blood. After calling 911, she was rushed to the hospital only to find out she was a lot worst then he feared - She was dying.

It turned out less than a month after their father passed away, she found out she had advanced breast cancer and didn’t have long to live. Her fear of dying, depression over the loss of her husband and the fear for her children after she was gone had left her a wreak and further advanced her condition. The doctor then said she might only have another year to live. Heartbroken, but determined to stay strong for his sister, Cayden went to the hospital with Haylee every day to see her, being watched over by the neighbours at the time since the rest of their family members lived too far away. Around the anniversary of their father’s death, right after Cayden turned 11, his mother asked him to watch over Haylee and protect her since she wasn’t going to be there to do so, and a week later, she passed away.

Unable to continue caring for them forever, Cayden and Haylee were put into a foster care programs by the neighbours and state. They often rarely stayed in one place longer than a year, in a few cases, only a mere few months, so making friends proved nearly impossible and they kept to each other most of the time. There were times when they were nearly separated, but Cayden was always adamant about staying with his sister. He would not let Haylee go alone to any foster home, nor would he go to a foster home without Haylee. This made some of their foster parents agitated and treat Cayden poorly, but he would always just smile and take it as long as Haylee was happy and safe.

During most of the rest of his childhood years, he kept a watchful eye on his little sister and was often the only one who kept her company, as she often kept to herself, reading books. They were bounced from foster home to foster home, till they came across Pawsville. Its unusual-ness really confused them, but they learned to live with it and happily called this small town their new home. The foster parents they had there were very nice people and happily accepted both of them into their home and Cayden would often go out of his way to make his foster parents happy because he wished to finally stay in one place again and remain there until he was old enough to move out.

Upon moving to pawville, he got himself a job at a wholesaler, lifting heavy boxes onto trucks, being sent out to other stores and helping out local businesses with their pick-up orders. He worked this job while he applied himself to school and worked towards his dream job – being a firefighter like his father was. By the time he was 18, the money he gained though his job helped him buy a small home for the two of them and he continued to raise the 12 year old girl by himself instead of having her sent off to another foster home.

When he was 20, he was able to get into the local college for the Pre-Service Firefighter Education & Training Program and began his intense training to be a firefighter. Since he was still working to support himself and his sister, he often would take any shift he could get around school and would come home completely exhausted. He always tried hard to be there for Haylee for anything she needed but always felt he was ignoring her without meaning to and would feel terrible anytime he came home and found she had made her own dinner and was in her room doing homework alone. Sometimes he would even come home and she had made him dinner to heat up as well. She always said she understood why he was so busy and he always made an effort to be there if she ever needed him. Even at the cost of his own health sometimes.

Luckily, this insane schedule only lasted one year as he graduated from the program with the highest marks in the class and began job-hunting at the local fire department. Unfortunately at the time, they were only hiring part-time and didn’t give enough hours to be able to quit his other job, but for now, he was able to get into the field, which was a good start. While he waited for the local fire department to have a fulltime opening available, he had a few other departments in other cities asking him to work fulltime. He declined each time as Haylee was still too young to live alone and he didn’t want to uproot her after she finally adjusted to living in one place.

This went on, until he was 26 and he was offered a good job out of town. It wasn’t as far away as most of the job requests had been so far, but still far away that he would need to move. Haylee was 20 at this time and able to live on her own and with hours never changing at the local fire department and hours being cut at his other job, he decided to finally take the job and move out of pawville. However, he left the fire department with the request that if an opening came up for fulltime employment, he wanted the job, as he wished to return to the city and stay near his sister. He left the house to her, promising to visit when he could and eventually move back home if the local fire department had an opening.

He moved away and worked hard at his job for a solid year before getting the call he was waiting so long for – a fulltime position had opened at the pawville Fire department. He took it with no hesitation, calling up Haylee and told her the good news right away while making his arrangements to head back home. Once he was back, he noticed right away that Haylee had taken over the house and changed everything to pink. After that initial shock, he then noticed she was no longer alone in the house. While he was away, she had recently got a new dog – a very fierce and overprotective one named Seoul. Even with Haylee there, he was nearly attacked at the door coming in. He started off unsure about him until he noticed how sweet he was with Haylee and realized she adopted him because she was lonely without him there. After unpacking and moving back in, he started to make a strong effort to befriend Seoul, and recently it has begun to work.

Now at 27, he lives in pawville again with his sister Haylee while working at the local fire department as one of their top fire fighters and plans to get a dog of his own soon enough.

~He owns a pair of Masked lovebirds ( The male is the ‘wild’ colour type and the female is the ‘Cobalt’ coloured type. ) Their names are “Romeo and Juliet.” ;w;
~ He can eat all day and still be hungry again 5 minutes after eating. He also eats very odd food combinations sometimes.
~He is an amazing cook.
~Cayden played basketball throughout his grade and high school years and was the star player every year on his team. He still loves playing basketball even today and is very good at it.
~Every year during Breast Cancer awareness month, He dyes his hair pink like his sister, then dyes it back to its usual colours once the month is over – in honor of their mother who died of breast cancer.
~Like his sister, his natural hair colour is actually brown. Though his was always a darker brown then his sister’s.
~When he’s not working, he can often be found reading, sleeping or playing video games. He also loves going for long jogs and hikes when he can and isn’t too tired to do so.
~He often falls asleep on the couch if he’s too tired to make it upstairs to his room.
~ He can be extremely oblivious at times.
~He is straight and currently Single. ( But has a potential girlfriend right now ;D )
~He has a tendency to get lost very easily. He has no sense of direction at all. XD Though oddly enough, if panicked or extremely focused, he can suddenly find his way just fine.
~He has a very high alcohol tolerance. It almost seems like the more he drinks the more sober he gets XD;
~ He loves Thunderstorms and will often sit in the garage with the door open or on the porch and watch the storm.
~ Cayden is allergic to latex and has special equipment/masks just for him at his work. Latex powder gives him a worse reaction then the rubber itself. He avoids Balloons like the plague XD
~ He is always smiling, even if something has upset him. If he’s not smiling, then you know something is seriously wrong.
~He’s extremely close to his sister. She’s his best friend X3
~Cayden never tolerates people who smoke or do drugs. He refuses to be around people like them and won’t let them anywhere near his sister.
~ Technology hates him.
~ He is afraid of snakes.
~ He has low-blood pressure, so he’s often very slow getting up after sleeping. He usually stays quite groggy for about 20 minutes after getting up. To put lightly, he hates mornings.
~He loves scary movies, even though they often freak him out and make him skittish for a few days after watching them XD
~ He also enjoys watching Disney movies, especially with his sister.
~ He has a pretty good singing voice, though he only sings in the shower usually XD;;;
