gnjkds Totally planned to have this done a few days ago, but life got really busy and slowed me down OTZ *cries* Anywho, I won’t be colouring this, but there is a chance my partner in this event might be coloring it as a collab. We’ll see XD
This is for the event over at
Called the “Dating festival event” ;w; Details can be found here:~~~> www.deviantart.com/journal/Dat… Since my Main Dog Seoul and my secondary oc Cayden are both officially/pretty much officially taken, it left me with Eclipse and Khan who are still single. However, I didn’t have time to finish Khan’s Bio in time ( still working on it now XD;;; ) and only had time to finish Eclipse in time for the event, which was enough to enter ;w;b
So here is Eclipse, and his partner for this event, Gisela ;w; I decided to draw them having dinner together on a date X3 This is Eclipse’s first ‘date’ so he’s trying to talk more than eat XD; haha Also, Eclipse looks a little more girly then planned in this picture - but he is very much a boy XD haha

~~~Mini Story start:~~~
When the flyer for the dating festival came to their door, Eclipse wasn’t sure what it was. But he picked it up and brought it over to his owner, Haylee just the same. It wasn’t until Haylee and Cayden were taking to each other about it and he heard Haylee say over and over again how Eclipse should get entered into the festival that Eclipse was curious.
Seoul, Haylee’s first dog, seemed to know what the festival was as did the two humans living in the house. Even Zaya, Cayden’s new dog seemed to give an understanding nod as Cayden talked to her about it. Now Eclipse wanted to know and join in so badly. When he asked what it was, Haylee explained it was a festival would set up ‘blind dates’ for the day. At first Eclipse thought the dates were blind and they led each other around, but Cayden explained that was wrong and that a blind date was a date with someone you had never met before.
Now Eclipse wasn’t completely naïve. He understood that the ‘date’ they were referring to was something you did with someone you liked to get to know them better. It was something you did when you were in love. Though the thought of a blind date made him a little nervous, Eclipse decided he wanted to enter and get a blind date for the day.
Haylee happily signed him up and when the day came, Cayden helped get him ready to go and look a little more proper then usually for his date. However, when Cayden went to remove his red scarf, he whined and Cayden let it be. That scarf meant a lot to him and he wasn’t going to take it off unless he had to. Seoul just watched from a distance, thinking this was a waste of time and glared out the window at the stray Cat, Khan who recently started to show up in their backyard for food. Zaya meanwhile thought this whole thing was a cute idea and wished him luck on his date.
Once he was ready, Eclipse was off to the meeting place for his date - after Cayden explained how a date worked of course – and it was then that Eclipse realized this was his first date and he had to treat it seriously. He arrived a little early and waited for his date to show up and smiled widely when he saw her. His tail instinctively started to wag and his first reaction was wanting to play with this new person, but he forced that to the back of his head and greeted her in a very polite and friendly way.
They started off wandering the festival area just talking and getting to know each other a little. The girl, Gisela, was a police officer, which immediately made Eclipse feel he had to be on his best behavior or he would get in trouble. But she seemed very nice and Eclipse enjoyed talking with her. As they started to get hungry, Eclipse led her to a restaurant that Cayden suggested he take her. They talked some more as they waited for their food, then ate and talked a little more before leaving. The entire dinner process took nearly two hours and it was now getting a little late.
It was, however, the perfect time to go see a movie. The two of them went to the theater and watched a movie to wrap up the night. Eclipse felt the date went over very well. And even if nothing romantic ever ends up forming between them, he had fun and felt she did too. In any case, he gained a new friend from this and would love to do this again.
At the end of the night, Eclipse brought her home and seemed to hesitate a bit. Cayden mentioned that sometimes at the end of a date that went really well, the boy would kiss the girl on the cheek or hand to show affection, but only to do so if the girl was ok with it. That thought made his blush. Eclipse felt the date went well, but he also wasn’t the best at reading the mood and didn’t know if it was ok to do something like that.
As they reached her front door, Eclipse quickly made a decision and smiled at her, thanking her for the wonderful night. When she did the same, Eclipse carefully took her hand and kissed the back of it and said his goodbye. He caught her blush a bit, but smile as she said goodbye as well. On the way back home, Eclipse could feel his face burning with a blush. He was going to tell them how the date went when he got home because he was sure they were going to ask…however….
….he was going to keep that last part to himself.
