This is for the New years mini-event over at
x3 Details can be found here:~~~> www.deviantart.com/journal/New… In short, we basically had to draw our oc’s kissing at the stroke of midnight X3 This is Cayden’s version where he is kissing his Dog and girlfriend, Zaya ;7;b

And Zaya Doesn’t have an official ref on DA yet ;7; but she is :devtasuki-akana:’s dog oc for the group X3

~~~ Mini story start: ~~~
Tonight was the night of the new year’s party out in town square and Cayden couldn’t wait to go. Cayden was the one who heard about it from work and decided to drag everyone out of the house to go – even grabbing the stray cat that often wandered around to join them too. As the small group got ready and went out, Cayden made sure to keep close tabs on his dog, Zaya and made sure she was with him the whole time. Zaya had poor vision, so he was afraid she would get lost.
As the night worn on, the group seemed to disperse into the crowd and left Cayden alone with Zaya. They both overheard people in the crowd talking about kissing someone at midnight, something Cayden knew as being a new year’s tradition, though he personally never did it before. He had no girlfriend around this time of the year but this time, he had someone he was gaining a lot of feelings for. Someone he pretty much counted as a girlfriend by this point.
Glancing at Zaya, he smiled as he caught her looking at him and watched her blush and turn away. As it turned to one minute away from midnight, Cayden saw Seoul pull Haylee out of the crowd. He knew what he was planning and decided to follow suit. He took Zaya’s hand and led her away from the crowd a bit and turned to smile at her. He might as well keep up the tradition right?
As the countdown started, Cayden held her hand in his, pulling her close like they were going to dance. Just as it hit midnight, he leaned in and kissed her. As they did, fireworks went off in the sky behind them and as Cayden pulled away, he leaned his forehead against hers and smiled.
He already knew this next year was going to be wonderful. Because Zaya was going to be in it.
